Nigerian Ministers Are Noise Makers; Buhari

France 24 TV asked President Buhari; if the lack of a finance minister was not hurting Nigeria’s economy. “No,” he replied. “The ministers are there, I think, to make a lot of noise – for the politicians to make a lot of noise. But the job is being done by the technocrats.”
We enjoy mental escapism believing that giving a bad condition some form of good name will change the condition but this is not always the truth.

Why do Nigerians want to impress it on President Mohammadu Buhari to appoint ministers or to use the president’s on words “noise makers’’ to form his cabinet. We have a very intelligent man as president; who can do all things and manage all things all by himself, so why expect him to appoint noise makers whom he knows won’t do any work but make noise and distract his wonderful vision for the country.

If Mr. President believes that these ministers are noise makers. It connotes that he can’t trust them enough to move his visions forward. He does not believe in delegations of people into political authorities. He does not see the need for a large number of people running the affairs of government. Mr. President knows that he can sit back at ASO ROCK and give directives to the technocrats and they will deliver the necessary democratic dividends to all Nigerians. He will always supervise them from his office.

Mr. President as a former minister (Minister of petroleum) and a former noise maker knows that ministers don’t achieve anything. They are nothing but noise makers.

Mr. President you're appreciated..
