Our secret - Poem

Our Secret

Amaka

This moon signed our witness
What noon shall one day reveal.
This happy tree dancing with hands all spread
Beneath; bound two souls never to unbind.

Beyond promises
Even if travel be revealed
I wait till you come to be revealed
And our secret revealed.

No snooping eyes
The night holds only our light.
Ss! should I sentence my hands
Lest your moaning our secret be revealed.

Don't say yes
Not all said could be done
Oh! What a perfect design never to be achieved
How fair two perfect souls lost.

The bees must be less busy
should these circle runners
Or these maidens exposing the pimples on their virgin chest
Turned disturbed.

Before the first drops of the rain
We would have been sentenced,
Banishing our freedom
At least by pretense.

Wake up!
All players gone.
The noon is quick to expose
Hide to your tent.
